A Home For Sale Partners up with the DASACC for Cell-Phone Fundraiser to Benefit Victims of Violence.

A Home For Sale Realty has teamed up with the Domestic Abuse and Sexual Assault Crisis Center of Warren County  www.darccwc.org , a local non-profit agency that is dedicated to supporting and empowering those affected by domestic violence and sexual assault.  It also seeks to create a community where there is no acceptance of or tolerance for either.  The agency provides shelter, counseling, legal advocacy, and safety planning to victims of both domestic violence and sexual assault and has been successful in helping thousands of children and adults move forward to a life free from violence.

A Home For Sale Realty, located on Washington Street in Hackettstown has launched a fundraising drive to raise money for the non-profit agency.  They are asking the general public to help in this campaign by donating their old, unwanted cell phones to the organization who plans to use them as 911 or emergency phones or cash them into a recycler.  Because old cell phones and cell batteries are potentially harmful to the environment if they are dumped in landfills, why not put them to good use by helping out these survivors of violence who are trying to  reclaim their lives?
